WordPress Administration Basics

WordPress is the Content Management System (CMS) used to manage the website, pages, users, settings and Photos in the archive. This is alternatively referred to as the “back end” of the site.

To access the WordPress Admin interface, you must be an Administrator. Login to the site as an Administrator and you will be redirected to the WordPress Admin interface. You can also go to https://lincolnhomephotos.org/wp-admin (or click “Lincoln Home” in the top black bar) once you are logged in.

You can easily toggle between the front and back ends of the site by clicking the “Lincoln Home National Historic” link on the bar. You can also easily access Comments and edit the current page you’re on (useful for Home Page, About, FAQs).
