Corneau New Exhibit Ribbon Cutting 2024

LIHO hosts a ribbon cutting for a new exhibit opened in the Corneau House. This exhibit was in partnership with the Lincoln Presidential Foundation. LIHO Chief of Interpretation, Tim Townsend, Archologist, Floyd Mansburger, and Sue Massie greet one another at the ribbon cutting.

Farewell Address Play

A play about the Lincoln's departure from Springfield in 1861, written by Ken Bradburry, is performed by Randy Duncan (Mr. Lincoln) and Pam Brown (Mrs. Lincoln) in the Lincoln Home Visitor Center, Theatre 1 to commemorate the anniversary of the Lincoln's leaving for Washington in Feb. 1861.
